Baked Cinnamon Apple Chips with Young Living Cinnamon Bark Vitality

INGREDIENTS 

  • 3 apples
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 drop Cinnamon Bark Vitality™

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 225⁰ F.
  • Use Thieves® Fruit & Veggie Spray to clean the fruit.
  • With a mandolin or knife, thinly slice apples from top to bottom. 
  • In a small bowl, combine honey and Cinnamon Bark Vitality.
  • Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper and place apple slices on top. Drizzle honey mixture over apple slices. 
  • Cook in the oven for 90 minutes.
  • Remove cookies sheets from heat and place apple slices on cooling rack. 
  • For best results, store apple chips in an airtight container and eat them within 24 hours.

Add some Spring to your Salad with this Tangerine Citrus Dressing! Whisk all ingredients together until well combined. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 Shallot minced
  • 2-3 drops Lime Vitality
  • 2-3 drops Lemon Vitality
  • 3-4 drops Tangerine Vitality
  • 1-2 tablespoons of Honey to sweeten to taste
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

This zesty smoothie recipe created by Sylvie Shirazi of Gourmande in the Kitchen is a little taste of summer right in your cup! The combination of orange and vanilla may just take you back to your childhood days of eating ice pops on the lawn on hot summer days but with the get-up-and-go you need to get through your adult-sized to-do list.

INGREDIENTS 

  • 1 clementine or tangerine, peeled and seeds removed
  • 1 orange, peeled and seeds removed
  • ½ tablespoon orange blossom honey
  • 2 drops Orange Vitality™ essential oil
  • 2 drops Tangerine Vitality essential oil
  • 1 scoop Slique Shake (optional)
  • 4 ounces plain Greek yogurt
  • 4 ounces crushed ice

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place everything in a high-speed blender and blend on high until smooth.
  • Serve immediately.

We can't wait to try out this recipe this weekend! Spinach Pesto Sauce by Young Living Essential Oils — Heat the pine nuts in a skillet until golden brown. Combine with spinach, parmesan cheese, garlic, and about 1/2 cup of olive oil in a food processor and blend until smooth. Pour pesto into a glass or stainless steel bowl and add more olive oil if needed. Stir in the essential oils. —

  • 2-3 cups spinach
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 drop Basil Vitality
